On October 30th, our Q3 English LK had the chance to watch a performance of one of Shakespeare’s bloodiest tragedies.
Filled with ambition, violence and blood, the play captured the audience and students by transporting them into medieval and English Renaissance times yet also reflected on Shakespeare’s intentions in a powerful way.
Our students also had the opportunity to talk to the director and actors at the end of the play; thus having the chance to ask important questions regarding Lady Macbeth, her man and the plentiful prophecies made by the witches such as “by the pricking of my thumbs, Something wicked this way comes.”…
